The 5 mile course includes a fast, flat and wide start on Hamilton's Hop Trail. Runners then take a right turn and run the entire Dwelling Loop. The tread is 2-3 feet wide in most places and rolls along with views of Lake Allatoona. After completing Dwelling Loop, runners have a fast and mostly flat half mile back to the finish on Hamilton's Hop Trail and Mosquito Flats Creekside.
The 10 mile course begins the same as the shorter course, however after completing the Dwelling Loop, runners will head back into the woods and complete the entire South Loop Trail. South Loop is slightly narrower and more rocky than the Dwelling Trail, but still flows well with similar elevation gain and lake views as the Dwelling Trail. After completing South Loop, runners have a fast and mostly flat half mile back to the finish on Hamilton's Hop Trail and Mosquito Flats Creekside.
