Race Course - NEW DIRECTION FOR 2018!

The 5 mile course includes a fast, flat and wide start on Hamilton's Hop Trail. Runners then take a left turn and run the entire Dwelling Loop CLOCKWISE this year. The tread is 2-3 feet wide in most places and rolls along with views of Lake Allatoona. The run will utilize the "advanced" lines on Dwelling and will NOT follow the new "Flow Trail" (that particular trail is better on a bike), rather will stay on the old Dwelling Trail. After completing Dwelling Loop, runners have a fast and mostly flat half mile back to the finish on Hamilton's Hop Trail and Mosquito Flats Creekside.

The 10 mile course begins the same as the shorter course on Hamiltons Hop, however takes a left via the new South Loop Access Trail and first heads up onto South Loop in a CLOCKWISE direction. South Loop is slightly narrower and more rocky than the Dwelling Trail, but still flows well with similar elevation gain and lake views as the Dwelling Trail. After completing South Loop, runners will run all of the Dwelling Trail CLOCKWISE. The run will utilize the "advanced" lines on Dwelling and will NOT follow the new "Flow Trail" (that particular trail is better on a bike), rather will stay on the old Dwelling Trail. Once done with Dwelling, runners have a fast and mostly flat half mile back to the finish on Hamilton's Hop Trail and Mosquito Flats Creekside.
